Basecamp Lodging
Our basecamp features spacious wooded, festive and quiet camp grounds, complete with picnic tables and fire rings. Additional primitive camping is available, so you can really get back to nature on your trip, with an adjacent alcohol-free camping area should you prefer. Within the campground, you are within easy walking distance to our new showerhouse and restrooms, dining area, outdoor pool and hot tub, Outfitters Store, the Red Dog River Saloon, Fire Creek Lodge and Conference Center and sundries store. You’ll be impressed with our top notch facilities, designed with your convenience and comfort in mind and always kept clean and tidy.
Also available are horseshoes, cornhole, and sandvolleyball. Or summon up the strategy required to outwit your enemies at our onsite paintball field- reservations required.
Luxury Cabins
Beautiful, new luxury rental cabins feature all the comforts of home. These luxury cabins feature five queen bedrooms and include a full kitchen, two full baths, sofa, dining area, gas fireplace, satellite TV, central heat and air-conditioning, private hot tub, gas grill on porch, Wi-Fi internet access, linens and towels, and more.
Deluxe Cabins
New lodging option with three full beds plus a futon/pullout upstairs. Each deluxe cabin has a sofa, bathroom/shower, fridge, coffee maker, heat and a/c, linens and towels, gas grill on porch. This cabin type is between our luxury and rustic cabin options.
Rustic Cabins
Our rustic cabins provide a cozy shelter from the elements plus the comfort of a soft place to bed down at night. These rustic cabins feature six bunks with double-size mattresses, electricity, lights and porch. You supply pillows, sleeping bags or linens and blankets.
Tents on Platforms
Want to skip packing a tent, setting it up, and tearing it down at the end of the trip? This option is for you! We've done the work for you. Our large, four-person tents are set up on wooden platforms and covered by a tarp roof to protect you from the elements. These platform tents come equipped with four single-size foam mattresses - the only gear you will need to bring is your sleeping bag or bedding, and pillow.
RV Sites
Our all new RV Park features six RV sites, complete with water and electric hook ups. There is even an onsite dump station for your convenience. Each RV Site also has a fire ring and picnic table, located just behind the showerhouse.
Pets
Pets are welcome at River Expeditions Adventure Resort, provided that they do not disturb other guests and are kept on a leash at all times. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, so we can maintain our pet-friendly status. We can even arrange for a local pet-sitter, upon request.
Outfitters Store
Offers a large selection of T-shirts, hats, and other souvenirs, in addition to quality outdoor apparel and footwear from brands such as NRS (Northwest River Supplies) and Teva®. You can even purchase waterproof cameras, sunglasses or other little extras for your trip.

Fire Creek Lodge and Conference Center
This unique amenity offers a cozy, family friendly space to enjoy before or after your trip. The Lodge features comfy sofas and sitting areas for reading, watching TV or even your trip DVD. There's also a convenient fully wireless work area. You'll find board games, puzzles, books, pool tables, plus a video arcade for the kids.
Planning a group function? Upstairs is our large meeting area which seats up to 50 people around a huge conference table with a large projection screen and audio/visual equipment. Groups can access this space for meetings, parties, training, worship services, etc. You can also reserve a party by the pool. Blend business and pleasure to make the most of your meeting. We can bring in a specialized facilitator or even cater your function upon request. To reserve this space, please contact our reservation office.
Massage Therapy
The Lodge also features a private massage studio where our resident licensed massage therapist (and river guide) offers a host of restorative massage therapies. Relax and unwind after your workout on the river as tired muscles are soothed - call our reservation office to schedule an appointment. Chair massage is also available most Saturdays in the Red Dog River Saloon.
Campstore
The campstore doubles as the Welcome Center and check in for camping at River Expeditions. Here you'll find a variety of camping essentials like firewood, ice, and charcoal, plus other snacks and sundries. We also stock toiletries or last minute items you may have forgotten. We even stock candy bars and energy drinks if you have a craving. You can check out volleyball, horseshoes and cornhole equipment here too. ATM located inside.
Dining Area
Some river rafting packages include a deluxe dinner after rafting. Many special events weekends include a BBQ cookout with all the trimmings. Meals are catered, so please contact our reservation office in advance to confirm your meal selection if dinner is part of your rafting package or if you wish to purchase an additional dinner.
Our complimentary continental breakfast is also served here each morning and features fresh fruit, toasted English muffins with assorted jellies and fresh doughnuts. Full, hot breakfast is available upon request – call for details and pricing.
Outdoor Pool & Hot Tub
River Expeditions is the only whitewater adventure resort in the area to offer an outdoor pool and hot tub. Our guests have exclusive access to swim and play in the large outdoor pool or soak sore muscles in the 18-person hot tub. You’ll love this option on hot summer days or cool autumn evenings!
Paintball
Challenge your friends to paintball on our new woodsball course, located in the woods at the rear of our property. This course is complete with forts, blinds and plenty of space to stalk your rivals. All necessary equipment is provided, as well as instruction during this two-hour experience. Call our office to reserve this adventure.
Red Dog River Saloon®
This iconic gathering place for River Expeditions guests and friends sets the standard in après rafting entertainment. Following your day on the river, you can enjoy a cold beverage while you watch your trip video and relax with friends. At night the Red Dog comes alive featuring top musicians and bands, plus themed events, parties and sportscasts throughout the season. The casual atmosphere makes everyone feel welcome. The nightlife will test your endurance as much as the river! ATM available inside.
