Guided horseback riding trails along the wooded paths near the New River Gorge provide a unique equine experience. A relaxed pace through gentle, remote paths will renew your spirit. While horseback riding in West Virginia, you'll see spectacular views and enjoy being on horseback. Experienced guides will lead you and your horse through scenic West Virginia riding trails towards breathtaking views of the New River – don’t forget to bring your camera!
If you’ve never ridden a horse before, choose a leisurely 1.5 hour ride to get used to being on horseback and check out the scenery. Also available is a 2.5 hour ride or a 4 hour ride. Minimum age is 8; trip times are 8am, 12pm, and 4pm.
We recommend you wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, shoes or boots (no open toed sandals or flip-flops), a hat and sunscreen when it’s hot outside. Call for availability, rates and reservations.
