Horseback Riding Trips in West Virginia
2-Hour Ride starts at $59.00
Guided horseback riding trails along the rim of the New River Gorge provide a unique equine experience. A relaxed pace through remote, wooded paths will renew your spirit. While horseback riding in West Virginia, you'll see spectacular canyon overlooks, and maybe even a waterfall.
You can choose a leisurely two-hour ride to enjoy the most breathtaking views that no other horseback outfitter in the area can offer! Nature lovers, horse lovers, young people, and those young at heart - this trip is for everyone age 8 and up!
Our half-day ride will take you back through the New River National Gorge to the beautiful sites and sounds of Mother Nature for a 6-mile journey up the mountain to view the world's second oldest river winding through the 'Grand Canyon of the East.' Half way up you will stop to enjoy a stretch and view an old abandoned coal mine. With no experience required, this is a great way to spend half your day.
If you spent the day rafting or touring and want the perfect end to your action-packed day, then ride along the rim of the New River Gorge by horseback to the top of a gorgeous mountain just in time to see the sun setting over the canyon gorge.
