Horseback Riding Horseback Trips

West Virginia Horseback Riding Trips

2-Hour Ride starts at $59.00

Guided horseback riding trails along the rim of the New River Gorge provide a unique equine experience. A relaxed pace through remote, wooded paths will renew your spirit. While horseback riding in West Virginia, you'll see spectacular canyon overlooks, and maybe even a waterfall.

Choose a leisurely two-hour ride to get used to being on horseback and check out the dramatic gorge views. The half-day ride will take you on a 6-mile journey up the mountain to view the world's second oldest river winding through the 'Grand Canyon of the East'. Half way up you will stop to enjoy a stretch and see an abandoned coal mine. This trip is for ages 8 and up.

28th Annual Ice Breaker Weekend

April 10, 2010 - April 11, 2010

Whitewater Season Opener

My first time whitewater rafting was this past weekend on the New River, 12′ above normal. Wow! What a rush! The guides were professional and enthusiastic. Restroom and showers were clean. All meals were tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Hope to be back next year with my wife! Have a great Summer and God Bless.
