Most tours begin with a mild descent offering incredible views of the river and the abandoned railroad town of Thurmond. After a brief visit to the historic Thurmond Depot, riders will travel down-river via the South-Side Junction Trail. This trail is part of the historic trek by Mary Ingles-Draper after her daring escape from Indian captors in the 1800's. Don’t miss this exciting adventure full of history and spectacular scenery.
