Title: Summer Update
Summer is speeding by and the weather and water temps are perfect for rafting with family and friends. The volleyball tournament held over July 4th weekend was a blast! Thanks to all the teams that participated and congratulations to the reigning champs! More special event weekends are coming up in August - make plans to join in the fun.
Be sure to check out all the new (and improved) facilities at River Expeditions... of course, there's the outdoor pool and hot tub which is great for relaxing after a day of paddling. And by appointment you can get a soothing massage in a private suite in our Lodge. Enjoy games, reading, and relaxing before or after the trip in the Fire Creek Lodge & Conference Center - we're full wireless also, in case you need to get in a little work before you play. Groups enjoy the meeting space for morning or evening worship. You can also check headline news on cable, if you're that desperate for contact with the outside world, ha.
Also, the campground features new rustic cabins and tents on platforms for your convenience while staying at River Expeditions. And be sure to check out the primitive camp sites all the way at the end of the property boundary, shaded by a huge rock... very cool! Don't forget to visit the Welcome Center for last-minute camping essentials like chocolate for the smores!
The Red Dog River Saloon is a great place to watch the video from the days trip and relax with friends. And each Saturday night live local music is featured for your entertainment. Enjoy your favorite cold soft drink, domestic or imported beer also.
